Christian Lindacher, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Anna [Katharina] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 15 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian Lindacher came from the German region of Sachsen (Saxony). The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Tornitz in the Sachsen (Saxony) region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
