Johann Peter Going, a wheelwright (Stellmacher), his wife Maria Elisabeth, and daughter Anna Elisabeth (age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census of Müller in Household No. 15. They had settled there on 16 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Johann Peter Going came from the German village of Altheim in the Darmstadt region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
