Johannes Bindewald, son of the late Johannes Bindewald from Meiches, & Anna Catharian Kenel, daughter of Joh. Georg Kenel from Walerode, were married 18 August 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Schlitz.

Johannes Bindewald, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Christina (age 2-weeks) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 30.

Johannes Bindewald and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Meinhard in Household No. Mn33.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Bindewald came from the German village of Mengers [?].
