Andreas Paulsen, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Andreas Pahlsen is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
He is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 63.
Andreas Paulsen from Cäsarsfeld and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. Er07.
Friedrich Paulsen, son of Andreas Paulsen, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. 42.
Johann Friedrich Paulsen, son of Friedrich Paulsen, and his family are recorded on an 1865 list of colonists who resettled to Lilienfeld along with a note that they had arrived from Lilienfeld from Orlovskaya on 7 March 1859.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Paulsen came from the German region of Holstein. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Kappel [Kappeln] in the Holstein region.
