Andreas Paulsen, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Andreas Pahlsen is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

He is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 63.

Andreas Paulsen from Cäsarsfeld is recorded on the 1798 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. Er07.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Paulsen came from the German region of Holstein. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Kappel [Kappeln] in the Holstein region.
