Karl Luder [sic], a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Johann, age 18; Karl, age 16¼; Sophia, age 11; Christian, age 9; Joachim, age 4; Adam, age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck.
Carl Luder [sic], his wife Elisabeth, and children (Joh. Delloff, age 18; Carl, age 17; Christ. Ludewig, age 10½; Johann Joachim, age 4; Margaretha [perhaps a step-daughter], age 4; Johan Adam, age ½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johann Detlof Lieder (age 18) and his siblings (Karl, age 15; Sophia, age 10; Carl [perhaps Christian] Ludwig, age 8; Joachim, age 5) are recorded on the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 81 along with their stepfather Christoph Ahrens. [See Ahrens Family.]
In 1783, Christian Lieder moved from Boisroux to Paulskaya.
Johannes Lieder is recorded on an 1865 list of colonists resettling to Lilienfeld along with a note that they arrived in Lilienfeld from Boisroux on 30 March 1859.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Karl Luder [sic] came from the German region of Mecklenburg. The 1767 census does not record from where the Lieder siblings came.
