Andreas Götz arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 26 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Die Jäger (The Hunter) under the command of Skipper Gabriel Will.
Andreas Götz, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Beauregard on 23 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 36.
The 1767 census records that Andreas Götz came from the German region of Erinz [?].
There are no known surviving male lines of this Götz family among the Volga German colonies.
