Discussion & Documentation

Johann Noll, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and daughters (Anna Maria, age 7; Anna Margaretha, age 9-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 51. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

The 1767 census records that Johann Noll came from the German village of Schwarz in the Darmstadt region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Knoll family among the Volga German colonies.
