Karl Hinkel [sic], a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Anna (age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard a ship named Die Perle under the command of Skipper Gerhardt Hermann Thomsen.
Friedrich Henkel and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kolb in Household No. Ko30.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Karl Hinkel [sic] came from the German region of Zweibrücken.
