Philipp Müller, his wife Anna, and son Johann (age 13) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Philip Müller, his wife Anna Margaretha, and son Joh. Heinrich (age 13) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Anna Margaretha and son Joh. Heinrich died en route.
Philipp Müller, a locksmith (Schlosser), his [new] wife Anna, and [step-]daughters (Elisabeth Margaretha, age 11; Anna Katharina, age 7) who are recorded on the 1767 census of Kaneau in Household No. 86. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Philipp Müller came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Philipp Müller came from the German village of Marienhafen in the Darmstadt region.
