Johann Wolf, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth Charlotte, and daughters (Katharina, age 16; Eva Elisabeth, age ½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 159. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Wolf came from the German village of Kaduk [?] in the Erbach region.
