Johann Petrÿ, a farmer, and his wife Kunigunda arrived at Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Johannes Petri and his wife Cunigunda are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johannes Petrÿ, a farmer, and his wife Kunigunda are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 121.

Johann Petrÿ and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Basel in Household No. Bs39.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Petrÿ came from the German region of Hessen. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Wertizhausen [Merzhausen?].
