Johann Daniel Detler, a baker (Bäcker), his wife Katharina Elisabeth, and son Johann Peter (age 8-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 22. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.
The 1767 census records that Johann Daniel Detler came from the German town of Lübeck.
