Discussion & Documentation
This surname appears to be an error on the Huck 1798 census (Households No. Hk09 & Hk75). It may refer to Eloiß, the first name of the father of Adam Michel - perhaps in an effort to distinguish this Michel family from that of Ludwig Georg Michel who also settled in Huck and who came from a German village near the one from where Eloiß came.
This surname of Bless, if it actually exists in Huck, definitely does not continue from the 1798 to the 1811 census of Huck.
