There is a Johann Beier and his wife Elisabeth who are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Kaneau in Household No. 48.

The 1767 census records that this Johann Beier came from the German village of Gönnheim.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this Beier family among the Volga German colonies.
