Georg Winkler & Kunigunde Beyer were married on 22 May 1766 in Roßlau.

Georg Winkler, a butcher (Fleischer), and his wife Kunigunda settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 117.

The 1767 census records that Georg Winkler came from the German village of Salgen in the region of Bayern (Bavaria).
