Reinhardt Tiede, a cloth weaver (Tuchweber), and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 160. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Reinhardt Tiede came from the German village of Neubrandenburg in the Brandenburg region.
