Biography
Chris Bourjos, son of Peter C. Bourjos & Helen Anna Denning, was born 16 October 1954 in Chicago.
Bourjos was a professional baseball player who began his career as an outfielder in the minor-leagues for the San Francisco Giants. He played for part of the 1981 season with the San Francisco Giants before being traded first to the Astros and then to the Baltimore Orioles in 1981. He returned to the minor leagues. He later worked as an Arizona-based scout for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1984 to 2002. He has since scouted for the Milwaukee Brewers, Baltimore Orioles, and San Diego Padres.
His Volga German ancestors came from the Volga German daughter colony of Liebental.
