Letzkau was located in the historical German Kingdom of Prussia. Today, it is known as Leszkowy.
With the Second Partition of Poland in 1793, Danzig and its surrounding territory (including Letzkau) was added to the province of West Prussia. Letzkau was located in the district of Danzig from 1818 until 1887.
