Tobias Rupprecht, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Anna (age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Neptunus (Neptune) under the command of Skipper Johann Graap.

Tobias Rupprecht (age 66), a farmer, and his wife Anna Katharina (age 39) are recorded on the 1767 census of Semenovka in Household No. 15 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Leichtling in 1768. They had arrived in Semenovka on 24 July 1767.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Tobias Rupprecht came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that he came from the village of Wenswassach [?] in the German region of Mer [?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this Rupprecht family among the Volga German colonies.
