Hillenbach*

August Hillenbach, a farmer, his wife Maria, and children (Daniel, age 20; Dorothea, age 17; Elisabeth, age 14; Karl, age 11; Karolina, age 7; Henrietta, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Orphan Karolina Dorothea Hillenbach (age 11) is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 15 along with the Jakob Dietrich family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Dietrich and Hillenbach families.

Meier (Katharinenstadt-2)

Adam Meier, a farmer, his wife Eva, and sons (Johann, age 14; Heinrich, age 6; Nikolaus, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Adam Meyer [sic], his wife Eisabeth, and sons (Johann Christoph, age 14; Joh. Heinrich, age 6; Philipp Franz, age ¼) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from Oranienbaum to Saratov in 1767.

Eiff (Kind)*

Michael Eiff, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and son Heinrich (age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Michael Eiff, his wife Catharina, and son Heinrich (age 4) are recorded on the list of those being transported from Oranienbaum to Saratov in 1766.

Johann Michael Eiff, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and son Heinrich (age 2) are recorded on a appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya.

Kessel (Norka)*

Gerdrauth Kessel from Leÿdecken [sic] married in Büdingen on 24 May 1766 to Christoph Weitzel from Bönstadt.

Christoph & Gertrude Weitzel arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.

Christoph Weitzel and his wife Gerdruta are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 traveling with Jacob & Anna Maria Weitzel. A note on the transport list records that Christoph died en route. [See Weitzel Family.]

Schröder (Grimm-2)*

[Johann] Wilhelm Schröder [erroneously recorded as Schneider], a turner, his wife Katharina, and daughters (Anna, age 16¼; Wilhelmina, age 8; Louisa, age 5; Sophia, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Reders.
