The first church in Berstadt belonged to the manorial estate in Berstadt. The two lower floors of the massive tower date from the 13th century. The triple-stepped octagonal roof was added between 1628 and 1634. A balcony was added in 1545. The pulpit was installed in 1700.
The organ in the church in Berstadt was restored in 1962 by Förster & Nicolaus. It has two manuals and one pedal with 14 ranks.
