Ginseldorf, Kr. Marburg-Biedenkopf, Hessen

In the wake of the Reformation, Ginseldorf became a Protestant village, but in 1595 it became Roman Catholic again. From that point until 1801, it was part of thein the wake of the introduction of the Reformation, it was in 1595 again Catholic. After that it belonged to the Amöneburg (Kurmainz).  As part of the Peace of Lunéville in 1801, it was succeeded to Hessen, but remained Catholic.
