Mehlis, Kr. Schmalkalden-Meiningen, Thüringen

Mehlis today is located in the German State of Thüringen. From 1640 to 1919, it was located in Sachsen-Gotha.  In 1919, the two neighboring villages of Mehlis and Zella were combined administratively into Zella-Mehlis.
