Rommers, Kr. Fulda, Hessen

The oldest documented mention of the village of Rommers dates to 1441. It was deserted at some point after that, but by 1558, there were four people living there again.

Even today, there is not really much of a village there - only a few houses.

Since 31 December 1970, Rommers has been administratively part of the municipality of Gersfeld.

Church:

The residents were part of the parish in Gersfeld, a few kilometers north of Rommers. The ruins of a church that was once in Rommers can be found on the edge of the Wildflecken military training area.
