Sellin, Kr. Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Sellin is located on the German island of Rügen and has at various time during its history been controlled by Sweden and Denmark. In 1715, it became part of Prussia with which it remained until after the Napoleonic wars. Today, Sellin is a resort town in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
