Adam (Kolb)
Paul Adam, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kolb on 13 May 1767 and son Christian is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 1 living with the Andreas Kolb family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Kolb and Adam families.
In 1790, Georg and Johann Adam moved from Müller to Kolb.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Paul Adam came from the German region of Witterau. The 1767 census records that his son Christian Adam came from the German village of Lindheim in the Hessenburg region.
