Adelmeier (Frank)*
Johan Peter Adelmeÿer, a farmer from the area of Darmstadt, & Catharina Knop from the area of Isenburg were married on 27 May 1766 in a house in Lübeck. The marriage is recorded in the parish register of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Lübeck.
Johann Peter Adelmeier, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 68.
In 1788, widow Anna Margaretha Adelmaier and her children moved from Frank to Kamenka.
The 1767 census records that Johann Peter Adelmeier came from the German village of Fauerbach in the Hessen-Darmstadt region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
