Peter Allbach, a son of Johann Peter Allbach & Maria Elisabetha Peter, was born in Vadenrod, south of Alsfeld, and baptized on 10 August 1738 in the Evangelical Church of Hopfgarten about 4 kilometers from Vadenrod. His brother Johann Heinrich, also born in Vadenrod, was baptized in the same church on 2 July 1742.

Peter, his wife Katharina (surname unknown), and his brother Johann Heinrich emigrated to Russia, departing from Lübeck on an English frigate with skipper Adam Beerfeier at the helm. All of them arrived at the port in Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 along with Peter's newborn son, Johann, who had been born on 9 September 1766.

The newborn died before arrival in the colony of Paulskaya on 23 July 1767. Peter & Katharina are recorded in Paulskaya on the 1767 Census in Household No. 69. Johann Heinrich is recorded in Household No. 88.

Another Johann Heinrich Albach, a single farmer (age 25), is also recorded recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 105 along with a note that he settled in the colony of Paulskaya in 1768.

On the 1798 Census of Paulskaya, Katharina and is recorded as a widow in Household No. Pl10. Johann, a descendant of this family, moved to Beauregard in 1797 where he is recorded on the 1798 Census in Household No. Bo24.
