The marriage of Johann Alburg & Dorothea Elisabeth Jungt is recorded on 25 July 1766 in the parish register of Coswig:

"den 25. Juni 1766 - Ist Johann Alburg aus dem Brandenburgschen gebürtig, Kaiserlicher Russischer Kolonist und Dorothea Elisabeth Jungtin Ziegelstreichers Tochter in Schönhagen in hiesiger Kirche getraut worden."

[Translation: "On 25 June 1766, Johann Alburg, imperial Russian colonist who was born in Brandenburg, and Dorothea Elisabeth Jungt, daughter of the bricklayer in Schönhagen, were married in the local church."]

Johann Alborg and his wife Dorothea arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 September 1766.

Johann Alburg [sic], his wife Dorothea, and daughter Sophia Juliana (born in route) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from Oranienbaum to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Alborg, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, and daughter Julianna (age 2-months) are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits (Household No. 29) appended to the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies.

Widow Anna Dorothea Alborg née Junger [sic] and her son Johann Friedrich are recorded on the 1798 census of Basel in Household No. Bs17.

The 1767 census records that Johann Alborg came from the German village of Malberg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
