Johannes Antonius, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.

In 1795, Nikolaus Antonius moved from Leichtling to Beauregard. In 1796, Peter Antonius moved from Leichtling to Mariental.

The 1767 census records that Valentin Falk came from the German village of Seligenstadt in the region of Mainz.
