Peter Arnhold, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, and son Georg (age 4) are recorded on the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 41. They had settled there on 7 June 1767.

Jakob Arnold, believed to be the son of Georg, is recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt09.

The 1767 census records that Peter Arnhold came from the German region of Dessau.
