Heinrich Arnst (age 13) settled in the Volga German colony of Herzog on 14 July 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17 along with his mother and stepfather, Johannes Pfundner.

In 1790, widow Regina Arnst and her children moved from Herzog to Enders.

The 1767 census does not record from where he came.
