Discussion & Documentation:

Johann Jakob Audrit, a farmer, and his wife Christina Regina settled in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 14 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.

The 1767 census records that Johann Jakob Audrit came from the German town of Stuttgart in the region of Württemberg.

There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this family, so the surname does not continue among the Volga German colonies.
