Widower Johann Becker, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 14.
The 1767 census records that Johann Becker came from the German region of Mecklenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Becker family among the Volga German colonies.
