Bach (Mariental)*
Heinrich Bach, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental on 14 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 66.
In 1789, Nikolaus Bach moved from Mariental to Ober-Monjou.
Nikolaus Bach from Mariental and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. Om03.
The 1767 census records that Heinrich Bach came from the German village of Saargemünd in the Lothringen region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Bach family among the Volga German colonies.
