Adam Bach, a farmer, his wife Anna, son Israel (age 5), and his mother Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Kronverk under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Ilyin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 2 September 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 197.
The 1767 census records that Adam Bach came from the German district of Isenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Bach family among the Volga German colonies.
