Bach (Warenburg)*
Georg Heinrich Bach, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the hooker Die Jungfer Dietrika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.
Georg Heinrich Bach is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 76 along with his new wife Margaretha.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Heinrich Bach was an innkeeper from Frankfurt am Main. The 1767 census records that he was a cooper (Fassbinder) from Frankfurt am Main.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Bach family among the Volga German colonies.
