Georg Barth, a farmer, his wife Anna, and son Friedrich (age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard a ship named Die Perle under the command of Skipper Gerhardt Hermann Thomsen.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kolb on 13 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Barth came from the German region of Pfalz. The 1767 census records that Georg Barth came from the German village of Heimweiler in the Freie Adelprovinz der alten Ritter (Free Nobel Province of Ancient Knights).
