[Anna] Katharina Beckel, a single woman, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
She settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 73.
The 1767 census records that Anna Katharina Beckel came from the German village of Kelor [?] in the region of Friedberg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Beckel family among the Volga German colonies.
