Johann Jacob Benner [sic], son of Johann Georg Bender, was confirmed in 1751 in Windhausen. [Johann Georg Bender was buried in Windhausen on 28 October 1750 - age 36 years old.]
On 10 November 1765, Johann Jacob Bender moved to Merlau.
Johann Jacob Bender from Windhausen married on 8 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen to Anna Juliana Grün, daughter of Johann Caspar Grün from Merlau. She had been born in Merlau on 5 August 1742.
[Johann] Jakob Bender, a farmer, his wife Anna Elisabeth, and son Johann Christoph (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Stephan in Household No. 29. They had settled there on 24 August 1767.
