Johann Caspar Betz, son of Johann Philipp & Anna Margaretha Betz, was born 31 August 1727 in Vonhausen.

Albertina Frickel, daughter of Anton Frickel, was born 25 April 1723 in Lieblos.

The marriage of Johann Caspar Betz & Albertina Frickel on 19 September 1754 is recorded in the parish register of Lieblos.

The baptism of the daughter of Johann Caspar Betz & Albertina Frickel is recorded in the parish register of Lieblos: Anna Elisabeth, baptized 4 September 1757.

Johann Kaspar Betz, a farmer, his wife Albertina, and daughter Elisabeth (age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat under the command of Midshipman Mankensey. Anna Betz (age 28) [believed to be the sister of Johann Kaspar Betz] is recorded arriving with them.

Johann Kaspar Betz, a farmer, his wife Albertina, and daughter Elisabeth (age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Moor in Household No. 43. They had settled in Moor on 18 June 1767.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Kaspar Betz came from the German region of Isenburg.
