Samuel Beussert (age 50), a farmer, his wife Johanna Elisabeth née Hensch (age 38), and daughter Johanna Friederika (age 6) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 34.
Samuel Beussert is recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka037 along with his daughter and her family.
The 1767 census records that Johann Samuel Beussert came from the German region of Breslau. The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Samuel Beussert came from the town of Breslau in Schlesien (Silesia) and that his wife came from the region of Anhalt-Zerbst.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
