Johann Konrad Biebenbrück, a furniture maker (Tischler), and his wife Eva Elisabeth are recorded on the 1767 census of Susannental in Household No. 19 along with stepdaughters [surname not recorded] (Katharina, age 13; Maria, age 7). They had settled there on 3 August 1767. A note on the 1767 census records that they relocated to the colony of Basel in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Johann Konrad Biebenbrück came from the German village of Braunschweig.
