Johann Georg Bitsch (1703-1748) married 9 May 1730 in Reichenbach to Anna Barbara Koch. She had been born 14 April 1710.
They have one known daughter: Anna Catharina, born 4 or 12 August 1742 in Reichenbach.
They migrated to Denmark.
Anna Catharina Bitsch married in 1760 in Jutland to Johann Jacob Borger. [See Borger Family.]
Jakob Borger, a farmer, his wife Katharina [Bitsch], and sons (Johann Peter, age 3½; Johann, age 2¼; Georg [Philipp], age 3-weeks) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 May 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Katharina Eleonora under the command of Skipper Peter Rehder.
Jakob Borger, his wife Anna Katharina [Bitsch], and children (Georg Philipp, age 9; Anna Katharina, age 7; Johannes, age 5; Johannes, age ¼) are recorded on the 1775 census of Beideck in Household No. 31 along with two orphans Christian & Anna Katharina whose surname was also Borger.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Bitsch family among the Volga German colonies.
