[Johann] Peter Bock, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and son Peter (age 10) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.
Peter is recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 121 along with a note that Elisabeth died during the transport to the Volga region. Peter settled in Brabander on 13 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Johann Peter Bock came from the German village of Tiegen in Lothringen.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Bock family among the Volga German colonies.
