Discussion & Documentation

Conrad Brandt & Eva Brückner were married on 18 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Konrad Brandt, a farmer, and his wife Eva arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 44.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Brandt came from the German region of Hessen. The 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Isenburg.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
