Bremmer (Anton)
Johannes Brenning [sic], a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Hermann Anderson.
Johann Bremer [sic] and his wife Maria Elisabeth are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johannes Bremmer, a farmer, and his wife settled in the Volga German colony of Anton on 1 September 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 52.
Widower Johannes Bremmer is recorded on the 1798 census of Anton in Household No. An34.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Bremmer came from the German village of Spangenberg in the Hessen-Kassel region.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this Bremmer family among the Volga German colonies.
