Brenner (Seelmann)
Veit [Friedrich] Brenner, a farmer, his wife Maria, and daughter Barbara (age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Jäger under the command of Skipper Gabriel Wild.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 15 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 3.
Veit Brenner and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Seelmann in Household No. Sm15.
The death in 1833 of Michael Brenner, son of Veit Brenner, is recorded on the 1834 census of Seelmann in Household No. 95.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Veit Brenner came from the German region of Würzburg. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Rattershausen in Würzburg.
