Johann [sic] Friedrich Breuninger immigrated from Württemberg to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1762.

The parish register of Quern [Denmark] records on 16 July 1762 the marriage of Johann [sic] Friedrich Breninger [sic] to Johanna Sara Wünderlich who came to Denmark as the maid of Georg Reichert.

The parish register of Quern [Denmark] records on 3 June 1763 the baptism of Jacob Friedrich Brinninger [sic], son of Jacob Friedrich Brinninger.

Jakob Friedrich Breininger, a farmer, his wife Johanna Sarah, and children (Wilhelmina, age 2; Christian Friedrich, age 5-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Holstein in Household No. 17. They had arrived there on 2 May 1766.

In 1789, Jakob Friedrich Breininger and his family moved from Holstein to Beauregard.

Jakob Friedrich Breininger from Holstein and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Beauregard in Household No. Bo27.

Jakob Friedrich Breininger's descendants are recorded on the 1834 census of Beauregard in Households No. 48 & 95 with a note that Jakob Breininger had moved to the colony of Meinhard. However, it is Johann Philipp Breininger who is recorded on the 1834 census of Meinhard in Household No. 79 with a note that he came from the colony of Bettinger [sic].

The 1767 census records that Jakob Friedrich Breininger came from the German village of Feglandrintza [?].
