Zacharius Brachs [sic], a single blacksmith (Schmied), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 May 1766 aboard the galliot named Adler (Eagle) under the command of the Skipper Paul Adolph Drath.
Zacharius Brott arrived in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 20 along with his new wife Magdalena Dorothea.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Zacharius Brott came from the town of Lübeck.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Brott family among the Volga German colonies.
